SOFI 64 - Your French Language School in France

Your French Lessons
Objectives :
You will discover and develop a familiarity with the linguistic and cultural facets of France through studying the CEFRL's five key skills (oral and written comprehension, written production, oral interaction and oral expression).
Methodology :
Communicative and interactional method of the CEFRL. Practice of spoken French in communicative situations. Development of linguistic proficiency.
Teachers :
All university graduates with experience in teaching French as a Foreign Language (FFL) in France or abroad. A director of studies runs the team meetings to follow up students' improvement and to assure class homogeneity.
Teaching materials :
FFL Manuals ( ICI 1 & 2, Connexions 1, 2 & 3, Edito, Alter Ego 1 & 2), internet, authentic documents, audio and video documents (songs movies, interviews...), board games.
Progression :
One teaching unit per week. Students may be moved to a group more suited to their level, if agreed by the teacher and the director of studies.
Evaluation :
Students receive a certificate stating the level reached. The levels are based on the CEFRL scale (Common European Frameworf of Reference for Languages): A1 (Beginner), A2 (Elementary level), B1/B2 (intermediate level).
