I can warmly recommend Stéphanie’s school to everyone. The teachers are excellent and highly qualified, and the atmosphere is very familiar and welcoming. The school is located close to the beach, in a quiet and idyllic neighborhood. For optimal learning progress, I recommend staying for at least two/three weeks. I also suggest choosing accommodation with a host family. I had a great experience and heard a lot of positive feedback from other students about both the living arrangements and the families themselves. The price-performance ratio is excellent. For those interested, I especially recommend booking surf lessons during the warmer months. These courses are scheduled to fit around the French classes and are available for different levels. The surf instructors are fantastic. All in all, this is a hidden gem on the Basque coast and definitely an experience worth having.
