I recently finished 10 weeks at SOFI 64 and it was an excellent experience. It exceeded all of my expectations. The teachers are true professionals. They have the expertise to teach language effectively and to make the lessons interactive, engaging, and enjoyable. The materials used in the classes are thoughtfully chosen and are often created by the teachers to meet the students’ needs. The lessons are well-designed and dynamic, which keeps the energy level in the classroom high and keeps everyone motivated. My French improved for sure, many thanks to my teachers Elisa and Stéphanie. There is a strong sense of community at SOFI 64, so “French immersion” doesn’t feel intimidating. Stéphanie, the director and a teacher, makes a tremendous effort to get to know each student individually and, I think, succeeds in making everyone feel welcome. It’s a very comfortable environment. It’s been a wonderful to meet so many interesting people from a variety of countries.
